Users with access to multiple sites can use the report creation tool to create a custom CSV spreadsheet with many different combinations of data.
This tool is located on the Global or Group/Regional Dashboard.
To locate this tool, scroll down the Dashboard page to the Site & Group Management (or Site & Region Management) section and select the Reports button on the top far right of the site table.
After selecting the Reports button, you will see a one-line form were you can select the types of data you would like to see printed on your CSV report: Resolution (annual or monthly), Start Year, End Year, Units (metric or imperial), Resource Type (i.e. water, electricity), and Site Fields - of which there can be more than one.
You can also use the pie chart filters or search bar to adjust which types of sites you would like to see appear on your report. If you select a specific Group/Region, for example, only sites within that Group/Region will add their data to your CSV table. The filters that are applied are shown in the gray box below the dropdown row.
Once you have completed your specifications, select the Download button and your report will immediately begin downloading.
If you simply want to export all data from Maalka into an Excel or csv file, you can use the Export section, located below the report creation tool. The format of the spreadsheet is the same as Maalka’s Import Template, so you can export data, update it, and import it back into Maalka to easily update your portfolio.
Note: As this import template changes, please use a new export each time you re-import data to your portfolio.
To locate the Export buttons - from the Maalka dashboard, click the Reports button.
Below the "Create Report" section, you will see an "Export" section with two buttons: Account Data, and Client Data.
The Account Data button will download an Excel file with all account data in your program in a format that matches the Maalka Account Import Template. The Client Data button will download an Excel file with all site data in your program in a format that matches the Maalka Site Import Template.
You can edit either of these files in Excel and reimport them back into Maalka by using the Import Data tool, located in the gear icon at the top of the Maalka application.
